Alexandr Dub?ek was a popular leader of Czechoslovakia who attempted to reform the communist government during the Prague Spring but was forced to resign following the Warsaw Pact invasion in August 1968.
The crack was first climbed just 9 days before the invasion, which drifted away all the hopes of restoring freedom and democracy in our country for another 21 years.
The crack is rated VIIa which is theoretically around f5b. Practically however, it's a bold and hard climbing. :)
