Trying to work out where that is - is on the normal route up and down? I did that route up Store Jaegervastind on Easter Saturday, but can't work out where on that route this picture could be with that angle looking down on the frozen lake.

It's at the top of the final couloir. I stood under some rimed up cliffs and lara skied the spine on the edge of the couloir. I think the lake is connected to the sea - Jaegervatnet.

I looked at my photos from that day after leaving the comment and realised I know exactly where it was. I have photo of my friend coming into the couloir there as well, but I was higher up, hence the different angle in my brain! Looks like you had perfect weather (as we did)! Did you cross the lake to get there? It was my first trip to Lyngen on AT gear and crossing back across that bloody lake knackered at the end of the day was where I found I can't skate on AT gear as easily as I can on my old tele skis! :)

We arrived on a Saturday and the forecast said it was the only day of good weather, so we raced up at 2pm. The forecast was right and we hardly saw the sun for the rest of the week with 70kph winds every day. We came around the lake from the N side.
