Taken on the Passo Giau in Italy. A high mountain pass with lots of forest.

What's going on with that one feather stuck out, James? The important part of the pic is ion focus. what shutter speed btw did you use?

Not sure about the feather Sean. I couldn't decide if it was loose or if it's part of landing (not much of a twitcher normally!) - I decided to leave it in in either case. Shutter speed was 1/1000 sec, about right for sharp eyes but conveying a bit of motion in the wings I think.
