In white with dark green flecks?...I remember being so chuffed when I got my first all red rope - Edelrid I think.

I seem to recall that edelrid were more or less the only game in town at first - indeed I remember the white with green flecks ropes. My first kernmantle ropes were all white - I dyed them a pale pink and pale green using some dye that you were supposed to boil with the fabric.
