Oui, il fait tres chaud! Been some very hot weather for week after week now (although it's actually currently raining in Chamonix for what feels like the first time in ages!). If doing the route, I would very strong recommend starting about an hour before sunrise so as to get the first 2 pitches done before the sun comes up. We started just at sunrise. About 10 minutes after the sun came up, the mountain suddenly came alive and rocks started flying down the supercouloir. Whilst belaying me on the first pitch my partner had a piece of rock fly between his face and the rock wall just in front of him. Equally, whilst belaying on the second pitch I was treated to a blast of shrapnel in the chest from a rock exploding nearby. Not fun! Thankfully after the first 2 pitches you're no longer in the firing line
