Quality line - failed to commit to the last couple of moves at the top today but will be back for it!

Yeah I can't believe it goes at such an amenable grade, it just looks so blank! Galloway isn't really known for highballs but this is a corker.

That hold in your right hand in the picture is no longer there. It's left a slopey crimp about 5 inches lower.

I'm not surprised. When I grabbed it yesterday it 'creaked' so it was never going to be long for this world! Bet it makes the next move a bit reachy. Did your mate get it?

He got it ticked before the hold went.

...with a lot of squeaking and gibbering. Great find sfletch, I had actually walked past this while looking for boulder problems at Craigdews and dismissed it as too blank and too high. Good effort getting done, it's a real classic, both harder and scarier than Physical Graffiti at Dumby.

The new handhold hopefully won't make too much difference - it will make this move a bit easier (and avoidable for the tall), but then getting the triangle pocket a bit scarier. The hold will need some stabilisation as it's a bit crunchy at the mo, if I'm back in the area I will ab down and dab a tiny bit of superglue on.
