And what a great crux that is. When you have to turn round, as you have - after facing left, chimneying - and exit the pod by a superb series of moves, culminating in an exceptionally classy, awkward mantelshelf onto a small rounded ledge. And even then it keeps on coming. An amazing, intense, unique route. I would say that for its short length, singularity of character, and sheer quality of rock, it has to be one of the great pitches in world rockclimbing.
