If you cant tie knots tie lots !

Peter Cliff in 'Alpinism' says 1 knot every 8-9", 20 knots per climber, and who am I to argue? (Actually, we only tied 15, but hey ho......and we cut it to 10, doubly spaced on the next glacier due to rope drag, so maybe I am arguing.....:)
