Great pic that brings back memories. Used to walk over to the Cow & Calf in the 60's on a school midnight hike from Saltaire, and solo it to impress the girls!

Pennine, you are absolutely right. I was introduced to climbing by my dad in 1958 when I was 10 wearing my mums boots which were nailed. First route was Josephine in the quarry.
