Are these remnants of the bizarre but tragic conflict during WW2 that took place in the Dolomites?

Thanks Mr Mills :) . David these are indeed war remains, though the majority are from WWI and not WW2 (though there was still a lot of conflict in WW2). Here the Austrians occupied the summit and the Italians dug a series of tunnels through the mountain in an attempt to blow up the summit with the Austrians on. Crazy stuff...
