2 x Browning half-inch were fitted (Mini-guns an option). I watched them firing these during that week. You think these are heavy stuff until you see the twin 30mm cannons on the Super Etendards being fired. Maybe leave out air gunnery requirements from the UK SAR contract though!

Pavehawk, with those tanks in the cabin, is an example of how every gram of extra kit on a helicopter has a cost in lift and endurance. (If I had a vote for an extra piece of kit I think i would want to retain the water boiler of the RAF's Sea Kings. :-) )
