Looks a bit cold with that wee patch of ice at the bottom. Guess you didn't need your chalk bag.

Scabbard can actually hold a reasonable amount of ice in the chimney as is seen here below and above the climber. It was really icy when I climbed it a few years back, almost more ice than mixed. Perhaps rather than making snide comments about other people's exploits you should get out and get stuck into some climbing. You might even enjoy it!

I don't know how much ice it usually holds, but our consensus was that it was in great condition. A friend climbed it a few years ago and he said that it had almost no ice. Anyway, it was a great day out! My first mixed climb :-) Thanks Kevin btw....
