Judging by the position of the bruising that deffo looks like a fracture, rather than a sprain? Tell me I'm wrong!

Steve - yes, I greased out of the break when I was coming in to match! The hospital are not 100% sure but think there is a fracture around the outside of the ankle bone (other side of this pic) and also ligament damage. They did also mention possibility of joint damage that would need an MRI scan... Got a removable cast and going back in 3 weeks

It's a stretch that's for sure - you must have been so close!

Thanks Steve, although i'
m not in any great rush to get back on it - plenty of other routes to try. Besides, I've been told not to climb for another 5 months (it is fractured) so if I do get back it won't be any time soon :-(
