Always wondered why I bought Gollies as my first rock shoe - assumed it must be price. I'm right.
Wonderfully blue feet. And socks

I've used all these except RD's EB's were 'the' rock boot to have. Yes I had blue golly feet too

Good memories. I bought my first rock shoes from the High Court shop, went in to buy a pair of Gollies and came out with a pair of EB's and a copy of Rocksport.

I have an old EB on top of one of my bookcases in my study! I have a fine collection of old nuts (Reamed Whitworths) on slings aswell. Sad old GIT.

Bought A in 1967 on advice of the 'more experienced' friends but didn't realise what I was missing until I inherited a pair of EB's. I always think of what might have been!
Gollies were even cheaper before their production came into the hands of those who knew they could make a larger profit.
