I love this slab - so atmospheric - climbed it in December and I remember having to time the step across so that I could quickly climb 2m before the next swell gets your boots wet - plus quick bit of gear just in case.

this is Red Adair @ Porth-Clais not Craig Caerfai BTW. I remember getting smashed into the cave stepping across to solo Red Wall many years ago...Good phot.

Good point. I'm not sure how I change it now though.. And yeah, the step across can be pretty fun, especially in rougher seas!
