Cool pic

A fantastic example of Altocumulus stratiformis perlucidus undulatus. Great cloud spotting! The pattern (undulatus)is caused by opposing wind directions in the atmosphere forming waves, which in turn give the clouds this banded appearance. Stratiforis denotes a layer that streches over ost of the sky and perlucidus simply means you can see through the cloud. Magnificent!
