No shortage of hot water then!

Yeah, it would have been nice with easy access to hot water. We almost ran out of fuel. Unfortunately we didn't encounter any hot vents before ~4600masl. The camp was at around 3300masl so it required some effort to get hot water. One of my climbing partners got cold feet on the way up and the problem was solved at the top by digging a pit for his feet. Stunning place!

Considering the remoteness, the altitude and the fact you are sat on an active volcano, this photo has that extra unseen dimension of ... menace. I admire your ability to get a good nights sleep in such circumstances.
