Second ascent

John's looking lean and mean. And Moy Rock looks amazing. Well done!

Yes it's a smart crag, but the routes do need cleaning and the rock isn't perfect. But very popular now, hence why the second ascent was within an hour of the first. Actually 4th person to lead it (second team).

Nippy or was it just too hot when I tried it!
Lone Rider - 26/Oct/11
Heat does make a difference at Moy, as the pebbles are quite slippery. I know the route too well to assess the grade, but if folk think it's 6b, then that's what it will be given. But 6a+ is in the lead just now.

Certainly found it harder than the other 6a+'s and intimidating so prepare for an up grade. Think it will be a sand bag at 6a+ and hopefully it will settle down once any loose stuff is dispensed with.
