Whilst descending from a ski-mountaineering traverse of the Domes des Miages I took a slow twisting fall and my ski binding failed to release. The result was an injured knee and thus a need to be airlifted by the PGHM.

Bad luck Mike. What's the damage?

No broken bones and the major ligaments seem to be intact. I was unable to put weight on the leg for the first couple of days, but 10 days later I'm hobbling around, but still haven't regained full flexibility in the knee.
