Camped at less the 200m above sea level. The summit of the peak in the photo is over 1300m high!

Excellent photo and wow, that's some crag! Were you climbing there?

Sadly not...although did spend alot of time gazing through binoculars at possible routes!
We treked through the park and explored some of the glaciers. Bagged two peaks (both scramgbling). Totalled 300km in 18 days!!! But no big walls, we were making resources form Primary and Secondary schools. I really want to go back!.

The middle peak looks just about my angle - do you have some pics without the tent?

Wow. What a place. Looks like a weird cross between the lake district and Yosemite. Stunning.

I'm not sure how you would gain access to that peak in summer. You would have a carry a raft in I guess because the shores are so inaccessible and there are sections of hairy white water on this river. There is also an incredible amount of rockfall - daily! In winter the whole valley is frozen so you could just ski to it! But it would be a tad chilly. The ground here is frozen even in summer, with sand on top. I stood on it in bare feet - for a few mins before I sat with my feet in my armpits in the tent :)
