do you use a rope for this gully at all mate or do you just solo it ?

Its just a solo, theres usually a couple of icey patches towards the end, the crux is just ahead in the picture where there is a steep step up. The problem with this route is finding it with firm enough snow. due to its location & height it rarely gets firm enough. Most of the rock can be loose too so not alot of options for gear.
