Methinks yon Duncan may be a professional photographer?

Not at all, I take that as a compliment though :-) I would love to be. I am actually a credit risk analyst! If I keep working hard at it then someday I might get my bit of luck!

Really impressive, Duncan, it has that 'look' you see in photo mags, excellent! Not sure about the credit risk analyst bit, though! Lovely photo!

Whilst the previous photo is really dramatic I think I prefer the studied stillness of this one.

Thanks for the feed back... I was asked why so much dead space, so I explained my logic for the shot....
The pale sand in the centre leaves an open calm space for the viewer to walk into the scene, passing the seaweed while looking towards the horizon. If there had been more objects centre or right it would have been too busy. The Three pebbles were left far right to break up the diagonal created by the surf on the sand and are horizontal to the surf on the far left. Subtle but stop the eye going straight along the diagonal and off the side.
I hope that sort of makes sense... Or I could be rambling on again :-)
