Hi Paul, It's on the left side of the head (looking out to sea)so It's not exactly as the crag is shown on the map. I think it was down one of the dykes and involved a move or two through a roof into a huge rockover via nasty crimps to a ledge- sound familliar?. Sorry It's so vague, 'twas a while ago. I've not done anything else at Levenwick (we stayed at the campsite up the hill but it rained nearly every day), but I did various things on the ignimbright at Grind O'Navir (which is good), steepish stuff/ slab work at Ninian's tombolo and a STEEP granite crack pulling on the Unst coast. All during coastal walks :)
Are you still there?
Hope that helps
Dave

Actually I lied...Whoops. The steep crack was by the Eshaness light house and had a small wall around it- Does this sound like Slaters Cave? I only bouldered the start but it would make an awesome short route...

Hi Dave, yes I think I know where that problem is, its in a slightly different area from the other problems that we've done recently. We did a couple of things near your problem but I havn't written them up yet.
You can email me if you want and I'll send a photo of your problem getting a repeat :P
Any plans to visit Shetland again? If you want a climbing holiday you'd be welcome to stay with us.
Cheers for now, Paul
