We estimated this tornado to be approx 500 feet high and about half a mile out to sea. Excellent culmination of a fine weekend.

Hi Jon. Yes I have seen a few before all on the same day out in the Bristol Channel near Minehead. This one was pretty scary, the spout formed in a matter of seconds, it was a lovely sight abut I'm glad it wasn't moving towards us as I initally thought. More Tornados in the UK than any other country apparently!

Yeah I was really excited to get this one.
The camera was buried in my sac so it was a bit of a mad scramble to get it as the tornado only lasted about thirty seconds.
Didn't seem real at the time. Cheers.

I saw one as a kid before the war, off Old Harry Rocks. Still vividly impressed my mind.
