Where....and why?!

We'd spent the previous 3 days staring at curtains of rain across Glencoe, and just needed to get out and do something. As we were going to get a soaking whatever we did (in the days before Ice Factor), we decided to do some exploratory ghyll scrambling up the side of Buachaille Etive Mor from Glen Etive. This shot was taken not far from the snow (well more like slush really) line, having followed the stream right up from the road.

I see - looks cold as ****! Not sure what a ghyll is, or the gaelic equivalent, but will search. Good pic ;)
