The third and most dynamic of four shots (three of which turned out well), carelessly taken on aperture priority but redeemed by a shutter speed of 1/500 sec.

Thanks for that, Pylon King. Yes, I'd also wondered if it might be a young one because it wasn't as big as I'd have expected, although it had the beak and the unmistakable voice...
