Loch Quoich from Ben Aden © Dan Bailey - UKHillwalking.com
This summit is listed in Corbetts, Marilyns, Funros hill lists.
This summit has been climbed in 19 logbooks. This Corbett (otherwise known by the Gaelic name Beinn an Aodainn) is one of the hardest-to-reach of all Scottish summits.
The well-defined rocky NNE Ridge bounds a large broken N face with lots of easy rock slabs but no lines. S Face has a rough spur on its RH side with one good scramble and scope for short harder routes. A long way from anywhere, and an achievement by any route.
Feasible to come in for the day from the head of Loch Quoich but quite a trek, with the possibility of difficult river crossings. Barrisdale and the head of Loch Nevis are other possible start points, the latter the shortest but you've got to get there first!
