Crag features
Small basalt outcrop on popular beach with a mix of climbs, both trad and sportingly bolted. An overhanging jam crack and bolted arete are the best routes here.A short distance east is another rock outcrop with some short trad /highball routes on the NW landward side of the "island".
Also, at the extreme eastern end of Praia Formosa are/were some scruffy sport routes with old fixed gear and of unknown grade.
Approach notes
On a public beach, in high season the area directly underneath may be occupied by sunbathers and picnickers making climbing both impractical and antisocial.
No Access Issues
Consideration towards other beach users essential.
