Does anyone know how the route got it's name?

First ascent by a climber from Stirling, who fell off. Hence the name.

I thought it was a large flake being pulled off that was the bomb but I can't remember where I heard that.

Aye, Andy Cunningham was fae Stirling and he dropped a bomb on his partner, but nae himsel.
