In January 2007 we published an article - Epic on the Badile - originally written by Mike James (my father) back in the 1960s. During my research for the article I tried to find out what had happened to the original members of the team in a 'where are they now' section at the end of the article. I didn't bother checking on one member of the team since my father informed me that Geoff Grandison had died in 1963,..... or so he thought.
In reply to Alan James - UKC: Jings, Nev's wife is a friend of my mum. I think he retired from Outdoor Ed at Moray House some years ago. He used to take me birdwatching as a wee boy.
