They are a B1 rated boot and therefore fully compatible with C1 walking crampons. They came with me on a single winter trip to Ben Macdui and some day-trips in the Brecon Beacons. They have been worn a total of 15 times.
These boots are built to last, featuring a solid all-leather construction and a supportive Vibram Biometric Trek sole. While they lean towards the stiffer and weightier end, they provide excellent support and durability for serious hikers.
I am selling them on because I have upgraded to a B2 boot in order to fit a semi-automatic (C2) crampon.
They have a few scratches / cosmetic damages (see the photos) but they remain waterproof and in good condition. Feel free to ask for more photos or inspect them in person at the Castle in London.
I'm thinking of £220 but open to a reasonable offer.
