I was in Siurana a few years ago. There was a happy haze around a group of Spanish climbers. Then one of them fell off while making a clip, when he had the rope held in his teeth. A tooth went pinging off into the undergrowth. They all thought this was a great laugh. The joke and the happy haze had worn off by the time we saw him in the bar that evening with his modified smile....
I dunno, in a past life I was in a haze, and I wouldn't have trusted myself to be as 'on point' when climbing as sober me. It depends on the individual of course...
It's nice to see some people pleased I'm posting again, I've been keeping my uni work on track, and 'engaging more fully with life' , I'm not sure if I'm back or just reappeared, but I'm decent ta, making progress.
