I tried one on the other day. I always have to size up in Montane anyway, usually a large in ME/Rab etc but XL in Montane to get the fit across the back and shoulders. I reckon with winter gear on I'd probably have needed a XXL which they didn't have in stock so couldn't compare - XL was OK but might have been a bit snug over a full harness etc.
Hood's a bit close for my taste. I'm coming from a Rab Photon which is pretty cavernous though.
Loads of places have got the new BD Parka on sale, it's got loads more insulation in it, similar to the old Photon and Citadel. Looks like they've streamlined the cut on it, I'm leaning towards that.
