Might be a long shot...
On BBC sounds not long ago was a podcast from radio 4. It was book of the month or something. It was narrated by the author , I think he was a psychiatrist, telling stories of his days helping ill patients.
Can anyone tell me what book it is? All my Google searches have drawn a blank
