…. in the sea and on the beach. Chasing after sticks and racing each other.

Not my dogs btw; just thought I would share as a lot of dog owners on here.

The little fella seems to be dodging the waves. I had two mongrels as a boy and the 'Kirkdale terrier' did not like water but would stand at the edge whining while the 'water hound' could not be kept out. Any stick had to be won in a tug of war.

The little one was the most adventurous. Was the first in the water and in/out regularly, and also swam out some 7m to get a stick thrown in by its owners. Its head was barely above the water that time as it was the stick seen in the last photo!

The dogs certainly made me smile with their antics enjoying themselves.

Beyond the horizon.

Wished I could post a video coz that wave came rushing up he beach and I did a full Neil Kinnock. And that’s Brighton beach.

There are a few dog haters hitting their down vote buttons tonight? What's not to like about a big, happy, smelly hairball having a fantastic time on the beach?

You can see Whitbarrow across the other side so looks like where the Bela enters the Kent estuary or round towards Sandside? The dogs certainly seem to be enjoying the beach/compacted mudflats.

Our current adoptee pup loves the water. Once he got over a bit of fear, he'll happily submerge to get a stick. A previous adoptee pup loved the water also, but would always stop when the water level was just below his bumhole. However hard we tried to fool him, he'd always stop at exactly the  same water depth.
