Heading down to Rheged for the Reel Rock Tour tonight, from Glasgow.

obviously I know there is hundreds of spots around those parts but does anyone know of somewhere really good with easy access, that we could go to if we can get down early enough? Even for an hour or two and then jump along to Rheged.

Carrock jumps out as the obvious choice to me! Not far from Penrith, excellent selection of boulders and a stone's throw from the road. Enjoy!
