anyone printed out any hi res images for their wall?

Never tried this myself so I'm not much help (cracking image btw)

I'm subscribed to a youtube channel called Astrobiscuit and the guy on there is very knoweldgeable and helpful on such matters.

He has a discord server which serves to help likeminded people; could be worth a look- https://astrobiscuit.com/discord/  

Only my own. For me photos - including astro - are to a large extent reminders of pleasant time spent. Seeing someone else's photos, even of the same thing as mine, just doesn't evoke anything like the emotions.

On the subject of hi res ones: I do have an all-sky image* 18k x18k pixels I took in Galloway last year that I'm still working out how best to print.

* Courtesy of dark sky and luck timing the one image includes (identifiably) all the planets except Mercury & Venus, four galaxies (Andromeda, Triangulum, Bodes & and Cigar) one asteroid (Vesta) and one sporadic meteor.

That’s really cool. 

I've printed one of my M31 images at A3+.  Bought a new printer before  the summer - Epson Et-8550 6 colour ecotank.  The M31 image looks pretty stunning. However, since then we've had wall to wall rain or cloud   

Where do you live Graeme? It’s been wall-to-wall, near Mediterranean weather in the Belper/Derby area for weeks. Almost forgotten what a cloud looks like

Just north of Lanark Gordon.  we had a clear night Tuesday and another last night. Clouded over again tonight. 

It's gone a bit hazy here today, so maybe we're getting to the end of it.

All in all it's just another pic on the wall.
