I have an original Petzl Sirocco helmet which has been fine, but I am contemplating retiring it. I have seen the Simon Sprint in Decathlon, which is half the price of a new Sirroco.
Has anyone any experience of the helmet please?

I like it. It's incredibly light. The straps occasionally pull through at the back so that it sits lop-sided, but a sharp tug will put it back in place.

As with all helmets, it's probably worth trying it on before you buy it

Thanks for that. Yes, a trying on session is the way ahead.

Trouble is I love Decathlon and am too likely to come wandering out with an inflatable canoe or an archery set 🤷

I was going to buy one but when I got to try it on it was much too wobbly on my head, so I didn't. If you have an oval head shape rather than round, they might not be the best fit.
