Just stumbled across this trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=L0RhdV4K4_0&

Based on the climbing shots in the clip, this promises to be as accurate as Cliffhanger. Let's see how many errors the collected wisdom of the forum can find in the two minutes.

In the first 10 seconds, there are panoramic shots of what looks like Chamonix granite, but the close up looks more like something else. The climber slips on a juggy slab, but in the next clip he is falling off an overhang. Things go downhill from there (pun intended).

What else is wrong?

It's good to count such things, but the standard climber's equipment and safety techniques shown in Vertical Limit  (high explosives and cutting ropes in ridiculous situations) takes some beating... Great to see film comments from Blue again on UKC even if it only lasted for seconds

Maybe not based on Andrew Greig's classic book of the same name ?

There's even short haired Janine Turner character a la Cliffhanger!
