Going to Mam Tor parking on a busy bank holiday can hardly be described as 'away from the crowds'. However, so focused are people on the Mam Tor prize, that very few look west towards the magnificent Rushup Edge. This circuit starts busy but you break away almost immediately and then make an 8km loop back via Barber Booth and up the hillside to Mam Nick with only a few other walkers for company.
