I went to Wainstones last night after work with a friend and his 11 year old grandson. We were going rock climbing!!..exciting stuff I hear you cry. But it was torture walking with a kid who wasn't into walking. He likes shooting games. The experience raised the following questions to which he gave no satisfactory answer.
1. Why did he not fasten his shoelaces?
2. Where were his brand new walking boots?
3. Why did he drag a tree branch with him all the way?
4.Why did he lurk 50 metres behind us all the way?
5. Why did he always slow up when we slowed up to wait for him?
6. Why did he only photograph feet when charged with being crag photographer?
7. When asked if he was enjoying himself why did he say it was...and I quote.. "OK".
8.Why did he still go slow when it started to get dark and cold?
9. Why did he prefer hitting the grass with a stick to climbing up a rock face?
10. Where did all the chocolate biscuits go?
