Should I put one of my tents up in the garden tonight, partly so that I sleep in position ready to hear the dawn chorus, as it is international dawn chorus day (apparently) tomorrow, and to see if it is ready for when we are allowed free into the great outdoors in a couple (???) of months time?

 Why not? I did it last week. Made a nice change.

Weather forecast is looking pretty good - bivvi bag or tarp rather than tent?

Ooh that's an idea. I bought a past girlfriend a more upmarket bivibag, which she left behind, and obviously has no interest in. (She was last around ~ 4-5 yrs ago). So I could see how practical it is for when I want to go to Fionn Bheinn and climb all those classics.

Song thrush on fine form at moment (only just learned how to tell the difference between its song and mistle thrush).
