Climbing kit that sells itself

All climbing kit could be improved, if not beaten, however some items sell like hot cakes with minimal promotion. This must be as good a measure of superiority over the competition as any. It also neatly removes anything produced by Black Diamond or Petzl including the grigri (about which there will never be agreement).

The two obvious ones are Totems and Beastmakers.

What else you got?

Totems do not sell that well. Grigris do. Revise and resubmit.

Does anyone not like Totems or reccommend other cams if they've used them? All the reports I read are positive.

That thing has never been bettered. And a 20 year old grigri works like new and is still better than a brand new anything else.

That is a matter of opinion as a quick search here will tell you...

Isn't that the point of the thread?

In any case I do tend to find that the people who are most  vocal about really not liking it are generally crap at climbing. ( I wish the inverse was true )

They seem quite nice, but are a bit niche and a bit expensive. How often do you see people use them? Dragons and C4s seem pretty ubiquitous.

I know they're not strictly climbing gear as such, but from a skim of the recent sale threads, rucksacks seem to go quickly. I know I always feel like there's a gap in the range of bags I have....

Nut keys. If ever a bit of kit paid back its investment within a few visits to the crag.

Rock exotica silent partner.

At the price the used ones are going for, I am surprised that no one has started producing it again, yet!
