Random stab in the dark, but has anyone had any luck fitting the Petzl Vizion to either the BD Vector or Vapour helmets? Or any other non Petzl helmet for that matter.

I have one that has been lying around for years but my Elios fell apart so its never been used.

Probably not impossible, but don't the relevant Petzl helmets come with appropriately located attachment holes? Without them I suppose you'd either have to drill your own or work out some sort of clip-on set-up

And anyway if you need a new helmet you should just get one of the new Siroccos (unless they don't fit)

the visor bit on my Vizion broke quite quickly and they charge a stupid amount to replace just that bit of plastic. I think a Finnish friend did mount one to the BD helmet but it must have a been a Half Dome. You can't drill into foam helmets I doubt and the BD ones won't have the threaded sockets that Meteors have.
