Driving up to The Lakes on Friday morning.
Any ideas which crags may be in condition for this weekend?
Assuming best to avoid high mountain, N facing crags.
Which lower valley, S or W facing options would you recommend?
Classic trad, bouldering and sport all on the agenda.
Cheers!

Got to be Borrowdale. Shepherds is the old standby with any number of classics and great outlook. Also Black crag and Falcon. One of my favourite routes is Banzai Pipeline on Greatend but not sure what condition it will be in at present.
Wouldn't/t bother with the high crags unless you are of a masochistic nature.
Believe there is some bouldering for the bad solderers at the Bowderstone.

Given the forecast (NW gales) you probably want S through to SE facing crags.
