The North York Moors are insanely dry at the moment - great if anyone fancies climbing at some of the wetter crags (Tranmire etc).

People are advised not to discard cigarette ends... like that would happen! People treat fag ends as if they're not litter and flick em anywhere any time.

That could be regarded as negligence.
Lighting up a sky lantern is not.

Personally I think lighting lanterns when there's been a long spell of dry weather is as daft - you've no control or idea where it'd gonna land so maybe not negligent, but pretty irresponsible.
