This weekend is the Kendal Mountain Festival - the biggest and best annual gathering of climbers, mountaineers and hillwalkers in the UK. In case you missed it, here is a reminder of the main attractions this year. There are still tickets available to some events.

In reply to ebdon: You need to buy a day pass to watch the film 'segments', films are shown as part of a group depending on activity type - unless the programme states otherwise.

Tom Livingstone and Slovenian partner Gašper Pintar have made a first ascent on the south face of Mt. Dickey (2909m) in Alaska's Ruth Gorge over four days, naming the line 'The Great Wall.'
