Cliffhanger is one of the best five action movies ever made if you can get over the technical inaccuracies. It has a good plot and good characters and is excellently shot with some exemplary set-pieces.

The dialogue is lacking at times, in fairness e.g.

Qualen: I have to admit, Walker, you're a real piece of work.
Gabe: Yeah? Well, I have to admit, you're....a real piece of shit!

Actually no, but I did watch it about two months ago. My quote may not be verbatim but the spirit is there. I love it, so many films have the hero spouting articulate and witty wisecracks, and here he just repeats what the bad guy says but changes one word!
