A mate and I are planning on running this next Friday

Best place to leave a van and car from Thursday pm for a day? So we can sleep in the van at night and not have it broken into whilst running

Ideally near a pub and a public toilet too

Also tips for the route? Everything I've read says clockwise is best

Try Hope parking by the school, you then have the Cheshire Cheese Inn, public toilets and a climb to start the day.

I think anti clock wise might be the nicer route as the climbs are steeper and the decent gradual.

Park on the road in Hope (as soon as you turn down the Edale road) and I would go clockwise starting up Losehill, that way the recently paced brown knoll is a gentle up hill jog, but it is equally good the other direction in which case just start up Win Hill from the same parking spot.
