Was there Friday but mostly belaying via the Cracklap ledge. Nipped up top at the end and couldn’t see the chain links, but only had a quick look so could easily have missed them.
I went a week or so ago and all I saw and used were stakes along the stone wall. The last time I was there previously was 20yrs ago and I remember staples or similar along the cliff edge, couldn't find any evidence of those this time.
